Collection: Red Zebrawood

Red Zebrawood (also known as Ebiara or Berlinia) is a lumber that comes from West Africa, and is closely related to Zebrawood. Heartwood in red zebrawood is typically a deeper reddish brown with darker black streaks throughout (giving it its name).

This lumber is relatively easy to work with, although tear out can happen when planing interlocked grain. Red Zebrawood is typically used for furniture, cabinetry, and turned objects.
