Leopardwood (Roupala montana) is a wood that comes from Central and South America. Leopardwood contains a flecking which is typically grey or light brown, giving it its namesake. Heartwood is a medium to dark reddish brown.

This lumber is high in density, and is more challenging to work with, but glues and finishes well.
