Sapele lumber is a reddish dark brown lumber that tends to darken as it ages. Sapele wood is also known for having a variety of grain patterns. The grain on sapele tends to be interlocked with uniform texture. Sapele wood is commonly used for veneer, plywood, cabinets, furniture, instruments and much more.
