Morado (Also known as Bolivian Rosewood or Pau Ferro) is a premium South American hardwood celebrated as a sustainable, high-quality alternative to traditional rosewoods. Morado features a gorgeous, highly varied coloring that ranges from light violet-brown to deep chocolate and reddish-brown, and is heavily punctuated by striking, dark brown or black streaks that create beautiful, contrasting patterns.
These specific 1/4" thin boards are ideal for luthiers, box makers, and specialty crafters looking for a striking accent wood.
